Dollshouse Direct has very generously sent me a porch kit similar to the one from their Draycott Gothic House. Since it partially hides the doorframe, it makes the alignment discrepancy with the windows less apparent. I like both doorway designs, so for now I am keeping them unglued. Well, maybe I am a bit more partial towards the extended porch because of the quatrefoil details.
It bothers me that the center panel windows are not aligned with the door and the architectural details. They are about ¼ inch to the left than where they should be. Not a lot, but just enough to bother me now that I can't seem to unsee it. I wish I had noticed before putting up the doors. I don't want to take them off the hinge again. I find myself staring at it wondering how I can fix the windows.
